Vilas Pharmacy, Ipswich, South Dakota (population 954) adds end-cap display of Relating to Ancients series of books

It is difficult for active readers in small towns to get access to books. Not in Ipswich, South Dakota. The local pharmacy, not only agreed to handle the Gary Wietgrefe book series, Relating to Ancients, but they have a whole endcap display. Gary Wietgrefe will donate $5.00 to his hometown (Ipswich) Library for every book sold at Vilas Pharmacy through March 10th, 2018

The town where Wietgrefe was born, Aberdeen, SD hosted his first book signing event. Locals snapped up the first autographed copies.

Upon release of his latest hardcover books, author Gary Wietgrefe's hometown library will be hosting his first presentation and book signing at the historic Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library, 120 Main St., in Ipswich, South Dakota. "Electronics Aid Memory Loss" will be his first presentation at 2:30 pm followed by "Why the School System won't last" at 3:30. His two new hardcover books sold through Vilas Pharmacy, Ipswich, will be available at the Library and at Vilas Pharmacy 401 5th Ave (Highway 12) in Ipswich. The author will donate $5.00 to the Ipswich Library for each of his books purchased at Vilas Pharmacy between February 21 and March 10.

Prairie Pages Bookseller, LLC (321 S. Pierre St., Pierre, SD; phone 605-945-1100) will be hosting a book signing by South Dakota traveler and author, Gary Wietgrefe. His career and writing started in Pierre and he is excited to bring his two new hardcover books to Pierre and support Prairie Pages for this pre-release event.
